New Hadley Halt was a minor station between Oakengates and Wellington on the former Great Western Railway's London (Paddington) to Birkenhead via Birmingham (Snow Hill) line. On 13 May 1986, British Rail announced that it would close, due to uneconomic required repairs[1] and it was demolished in 1986. Its grid reference was SJ 681 115. The closure of the station coincided with the opening of a new station called Telford Central which had opened the previous day.
