Nick Hornby (artist)
Nick Hornby (born 1980) is a British artist. He received his education at the Slade School of Art, University College London and Chelsea School of Art. He is known for multifaceted sculpture cast in marble resin.
Life and work
He received his education at the Slade School of Art, University College London and Chelsea School of Art. He was described by ES Magazine as “The New Gormley” [1] and picked for the Evening Standard “Who to Watch in 2010”.[2]
He has exhibited his work in the UK, the US, Greece, and India, including Tate Britain (UK), Southbank Centre (UK), Eyebeam Art and Technology Center (New York, USA), The Museum of Arts and Design (New York, USA),[3] The Hub (Athens).
He has been reviewed in the New York Times,[4] Frieze,[5] Artforum,[6] and featured in Dazed, Wired, and Time Out, among others.
He is represented by Churner and Churner gallery in New York.[7]
