Norman Earl Evans (born September 28, 1942) is a former American Professional Football offensive tackle who played fourteen seasons, ten of those with the Miami Dolphins, first in the American Football League, later in the NFL. He was selected to two Pro Bowls and played in three Super Bowls.
Norman was born in New Mexico, but his football playing days began in Donna, Texas. A then tiny town of 7500 with a 2a football team. By valley standards he was huge, but began his career playing fullback on a fairly good team. This school the next year would win the 2A state championship. The only Rio Grande Valley team to do so. By then Norman was already at TCU after being recruited by the great Bob Lily.
