Norske Island, Danish: Norske Ø; meaning 'Norse Island', is an uninhabited island of the Greenland Sea, Greenland.
Geography
Norske Island lies near Cape Drygalsky off the coast of Lamberts Land, northeastern Greenland, to the southeast of the entrance to the Nioghalvfjerd Fjord of the Nioghalvfjerdsbrae glacier. The Franske Islands lie to the south, and the Achton Friis and Schnauder Islands to the southwest. Cape Nansen is Norske Island's northernmost landhead.[1]
The island has an area of 186.4 km ² and a shoreline of 68.9 kilometres.[2]
