O'Hare or O'Heare is the anglicised form of the Irish surname Ó hÍr. The name is found on both sides of the Irish sea and may be either Irish or Scottish. Recorded as O'Hare and O'Hair, sometimes McHare, or Hare or Hair, this is a famous Irish clan surname.
