Ostoja Stjepanović or Ostoja Stjepanovikj (Macedonian Cyrillic: Остоја Стјепановиќ; born 17 January 1985) is a Macedonian footballer who plays for AEL Limassol in the Cypriot First Division.
Club career
He started his career in FK Makedonija Gjorče Petrov. In 2005, he was transferred to Serbian giants FK Partizan, but he spend much of the time loaned to other clubs, like the Bosnian club Slavija Sarajevo and Serbian First League club FK Dinamo Vranje. From January 2007 until the end of that season, he played, on loan, in the historically biggest Macedonian club Vardar Skopje. Next, he played two half seasons in the Serbian SuperLiga club FK Čukarički Stankom, before moving to Austria to play in the Austrian Bundesliga club SV Mattersburg.[1] As of July 2010, he is a free agent. In January 2011 he joined FC Taraz. In August 2011 he joined the biggest Macedonian club FK Vardar.[2] In 2013 he joined Polish club Wisła Kraków.[3] In June 2015 he left this club.[4]
International career
Stjepanović was part of the Macedonian under-17, Macedonian under-19 and Macedonian under-21 teams.
In September 2012 he received a call from Čedomir Janevski to be part of the Macedonian national team for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Croatia, played on 7 September, but he was an unused substitute.
