Otar Korkia (Georgian: ოთარ ქორქია, Russian: Отар Михайлович Коркия; May 10, 1923 in Kutaisi – March 15, 2005 in Tbilisi) was a Georgian basketball player and coach.

Club career

Korkia trained at Dynamo in Tbilisi.[1] He was named one of FIBA's 50 Greatest Players in 1991.

Soviet Union national team

Korkia was a member of the Soviet Union national basketball team, which won the silver medal at the 1952 Summer Olympic Games. He played in seven games.

Coaching career

Korkia was the coach of Dinamo Tbilisi, when the club won the European Champions Cup (Euroleague) in 1962.
