Pali (Hindi: पाली) is a village in the Neharpar outskirts of Faridabad city of Faridabad district under Gurgaon Lok Sabha constituency of Haryana state, well known for being crusher zone that also has a seasonal waterfall.[2][3]

Location

It is situate 18 kilometres (11 mi) from the center of Faridabad city and 37 kilometres (23 mi) from Gurgaon city.[3][4]

Pali Jharna waterfall

Pali Jharna Waterfall is a seasonal waterfall, that flows in heavy rain, in the Aravalli range in the Neharpar industrial area on the outskirts of Faridabad. Next to the waterfall is a Hindu temple, both temple and waterfall are venerated by the local people.[3][5]

Pali Jharna Mandir

Pali Jharna Mandir is a temple next to the seasonal waterfall Pali Jharna, the temple takes its name Jharna (waterfall) from the Pali Jharna Waterfall, both the temple and waterfall are venerated by the local people.[3][6][7]

Climate

The area had become polluted due to the stone crushers and dyeing units in the area, which were shut down by the environmentalist NGOs Main ecological issues are illegal mining, desertification, deforestation, encroachment and land grabbing of common Panchayat forest and grazing land called "bani".[3][8]
