Paolo Vanoli (born August 12, 1972 in Varese, Italy) is a retired Italian footballer who played as a left back.

Club career

Vanoli, a journeyman, played for many clubs, including Parma (winning the 1998-99 UEFA Cup and scoring in the final) and Fiorentina, having also two spells abroad: Scottish Premier League club Rangers in 2003-04, scoring once against Dundee,[1] and lowly Akratitos FC in Greece (2005–06).

In 2006-07, he played for Castelnuovo Sandrà, a regional Eccellenza (sixth division) club from the town of Castelnuovo del Garda, in Veneto.[2]

International career

Vanoli was also an Italian international, playing twice and scoring once at his debut.
