Patriotic Alternative (PA) is a white nationalist and anti-communist group in the United Kingdom which states that it has active branches in Yorkshire, the East Midlands, the West Midlands, London, the South East and Scotland.[1] The organization opposes population replacement, male surplus immigration, white genocide, Cultural Marxism, and COVID-19 mandates.

History and activities

Patriotic Alternative was founded in July 2019 by British nationalist Mark Collett, the former director of publicity of the British National Party. The organization held its first conference in September 2019, with Edward Dutton and Millennial Woes (Colin Robertson) giving speeches, among others. Since then, PA has held camping and hiking trips as well as paint balling events. PA has also held days of action including White Lives Matter banners and light projections onto the White Cliffs of Dover.[2]

The group regularly organises camping trips to build communities. Patriotic Alternative claims, “With our help, your children can learn about history and culture in a balanced age-appropriate manner, free from the shackles and ideology of the National Curriculum”.

In October 2020, Patriotic Alternative members posted leaflets warning that white British people will be a minority by the 2060s to over 1,000 homes in Hull, England. This claim is supported by the research of Professor David Coleman of the University of Oxford.[3][4]

Views

Patriotic Alternative advocates for the interests of the British people, which they define as "the English, Northern Irish, Scottish and Welsh." They call for "a complete halt to all immigration unless under exceptional circumstances," and for monetary incentives to encourage people of foreign origin to return to the home country of their ancestors. They advocate prioritizing the English language, including printing all official government documents only in English "and other native languages where appropriate," as well as offering welfare benefits, public education and public housing exclusively to those who speak "fluent English or other native languages where appropriate."[5]

The group calls for abolishing foreign aid and never involving British troops in foreign conflicts "where Britain has no direct interest."[5]

For this very reason, the organization has been condemned by its liberal critics as being antisemitic, "Islamophobic", fascist and "racist".[6][7]
