Life

"Pauly" is the inspiration for the logo figure for Lib Tech (Liberace Technology) snowboards, made by Mervin Manufacturing in Washington, USA. Company founder and snowboarding pioneer (Gnu) Mike Olsen grew up near Keller and commissioned a logo of a maniacal child with a Fire Department hat based on his unusual behavior for the 1990 introduction of the Lib Tech line, several years before Pauly was arrested and convicted as Seattle's serial arsonist.

His story was depicted in a 1995 Lifetime Original movie called Not Our Son starring Neil Patrick Harris. His case was also featured on the Forensic Files episode "Fire Proof".[2]
