Pharmacy Times is a monthly trade journal[1] for pharmacists published by Intellisphere, LLC.[2] The publication provides clinical information for pharmacists to use in their everyday practice. Each issue contains articles and features covering pharmacy trends,[3] medication errors, drug interactions, patient education, pharmacy technology, disease state management, patient counseling, product news, pharmacy law, and specialty pharmacy.[4] The magazine is based in Plainsboro, New Jersey.[5]

Pharmacy Times also publishes an annual OTC Guide in conjunction with Healthcare Research & Analytics.[6] Since 1996, Pharmacy Times has surveyed tens of thousands of pharmacists on their top recommended over-the-counter products and published the results in the OTC Guide, which is distributed as a supplement to Pharmacy Times.[7] In 2012, Pharmacy Times and U.S. News & World Report collaborated to publish the results of the survey for consumers on U.S. News’s website.[8]

Pharmacy Times is the co-founding sponsor[9] of the Next-Generation Pharmacist awards,[10] a program that recognizes U.S. pharmacists in 10 categories.

Pharmacy Times was ranked the number one publication among retail pharmacists in both readership and page exposure by the 2012 Kantar Media Professional Health Study. In 2012, Pharmacy Times was named a finalist for the Best Healthcare Professional Media Brand award.[11]
