Pie Five
Pie Five Pizza Co. is a fast casual restaurant chain specializing in handcrafted personal pizza. The brand is owned by Rave Restaurant Group, which also owns Pizza Inn. The first Pie Five location opened on June 3, 2011 in Fort Worth, Texas. At Pie Five, guests can choose from combinations of personal pizza toppings for a fixed price. They offer four different crusts (including gluten-free & whole grain) and have hand-made salads. They offer dessert and also serve beer at many locations.
Pie Five Pizza Co. is considered a pioneer of the first fast casual pizza category and has twice been named among Fast Casual’s Top 15 “Movers & Shakers” (2013/2014).[1] Pie Five has also been recognized as a 2012 Hot Concepts winner[2] by Nation’s Restaurant News and one of “10 Hot New Restaurant Chains from Established Brands”[3] by Forbes.com. As of April 2015, Pie Five has 42 restaurants in the following locations: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Kentucky, Virginia and Washington, D.C. with more than 450 additional company-owned and franchise units anticipated.
