Pierluigi Bini is a Roman rock-climber[1] who, in the early 80s revolutionized rock climbing especially in central Italy.

He was known for his climbs on the walls of the Gran Sasso and especially for his climb on the "dihedral of Mephisto" on the east face of Corno Grande (The Paretone).
