The Piratas de Campeche (English: Campeche Pirates) are a AAA-level baseball team playing in the Mexican League LMB based in Campeche, Campeche, Mexico.

History

The team was founded in 1980, playing in Venustiano Carranza Park, then had its headquarters in Leandro Dominguez Park, Venustiano Carranza, while Park was refurbished and is now known as the folksy idol Nelson Barrera.

Campeche has won two championships during its history, both times having to face Francisco "Tiny" Estrada, and has been precisely his number, 25, the only hearty withdrawn by the ninth, won the first championship season 1983 and the second in the 2004 season, highlighting the offensive Poderozo reinforcements Willis Otañez size and Emil Brown among others, as well as reliable serpentine body headed by the pitching triple champion Campos Francisco "Pancho Punch" and the handover of Isidro Márquez.

"Tiny" Estrada is listed as the best manager and best catcher in your dream team, with Ramon Lora at first base, second Fernando Villaescusa, Leo Hernandez Felipe Gutierrez third base and at shortstop. Among his best players have Isidro Herrera, Mike Cole and Donald Ray Cosey with Roy Johnson at DH and Herminio Dominguez as his best pitcher.

The current edition of the team was moved from Nuevo Laredo in 2011.
