Popular Photography, formerly known as Popular Photography & Imaging, also called Pop Photo, is a monthly American consumer magazine that has the largest circulation of any imaging magazine, with an editorial staff twice the size of its nearest competitor.[citation needed]
History
The first issue appeared in 1937. Popular Photography was based in New York City.[2] The magazine was owned by different companies. One of them was Ziff-Davis Publishing Company.[2] The magazine was sold by Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. to Bonnier in 2009. The publisher is Steven B. Grune and the editor-in-chief is Miriam Leuchter.[3]
