This is a survey of the postage stamps and postal history of the Marshall Islands.

The Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) is a Micronesian nation of atolls and islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, just west of the International Date Line and just north of the Equator. The population is about 68,000.

Pre-independence

The islands first used stamps of Germany and then stamps of Japan from 1914 to 1944. The islands then became part of the U.S. Trust Territory of the Pacific and used American stamps until 1990.

Independence

The first stamps of the independent Marshall Islands were issued in 1990.[1]
