"Pray You Catch Me" is a song recorded by American singer Beyoncé for her sixth studio album, Lemonade (2016). The song's music video is part of a one-hour film with the same title as its parent album, originally aired on HBO.
Commercial performance
After the release of Lemonade, "Pray You Catch Me" debuted on Billboard Hot 100 chart at number 37, and[1] Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart at number 22.[1]
Usage in media
"Pray You Catch Me" has been used in media. On May 12, 2016, three weeks after Lemonade's release, the song was included in the episode "At Last" of Grey's Anatomy.[2] Lauren Hoffman of Cosmopolitan praises the use of song on this episode saying "I love that there was a track off Lemonade on this episode ("Pray You Catch Me"), because it's Beyoncé and Shonda's world, and the rest of us are just living in it".[2]
