Rüdiger Benninghaus

Rüdiger Benninghaus (born 1955 in Lüdenscheid) is a German ethnologist.
Biography
Benninghaus completed his university education in the cities of Meinerzhagen and Sauerland. He studied ethnology, history of religions, notably Islam and Judaism, at the University of Marburg and the University of Cologne. Benninghaus research focus in particular the ethnic groups in Turkey. Today, he continued his studies on ethnology in the library of the Gypsy society in Cologne.
