Radio IIMT
Radio IIMT is an Indian FM Station based in Meerut, India. The broadcasting frequency is 90.4 Megahertz. It is owned by the IIMT group of colleges, Meerut. It is the first and only FM station based in Meerut. Its tagline is "iss se behtar aur kahan" " इस से बेहतर और कहाँ !!! ".[1]
It is on air 18 hours a day. It is basically a community radio which broadcasts education, health, culture, social, consumer law and agriculture based programmes. Its programmes also include interviews of community people invited as guests to various shows. Inviting important and famous personalities like Prof. S.P. Ojha (Ex. V.C. Ch. Charan Singh University Meerut). Film and Television serial director Himanshu Kansal, Dr. Naveen Lohani (H.O.D. of Hindi), Prof. S.V.S. Rana(Pro. V.C), sh. Jitendra singh bana (Bar association Meerut) Sh. K.K. mittal (Law department Meerut college) Sh. Khagesh bahadur (President, Distt. Consumer forum) and many others is a regular feature with IIMT radio.
