V. P. & Rajratna P. T. Patel (RPTP) Science College is a college run by the Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) institution, located at Vallabh Vidhyanagar in Gujarat, India. The college is located in the CVM Higher Secondary Complex.
Description
The school is run jointly by the Government of Gujarat and the Gujarat State Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), and the current Principal is Mr. S. c. Suthar. Both 11th and 12th graders are admitted to RPTP. The RPTP is one of the largest science schools in Asia, accepting nearly 2,500 students each year
Features
The RPTP building has more than 45 classrooms and accommodates about 2,500 students in each class of 15-16 divisions.College has also college for potential with excellence by University Grants Commission, New Delhi Recently in March 2013 college was given A Grade by N.A.A.C peer review team.
