Rejected Addresses: Or, The New Theatrum Poetarum is the title of an 1812 book of parodies by the brothers James and Horace Smith. It contained 21 good-natured parodies of authors of the time, and was a popular success. Horace Smith was also well known for his sonnet writing competition with Percy Shelly. [1]
