Rise Interactive is a Chicago-based digital marketing agency and Interactive Investment Management (IIM) firm which specializes in digital media and analytics for Fortune 1000 companies.[1][2][3] The agency works as a strategic partner to help marketing leaders make smarter investment decisions.[4] In 2010, the company first ranked in the Inc. 500 fastest growing companies and has made the list for six consecutive years.[4] The CEO of Rise Interactive is Jon Morris.[5][6]

History

CEO Jon Morris founded Rise Interactive in 2004 to teach traditional marketers how to manage Internet marketing campaigns.[6][7] Soon after, it expanded from a teaching organization into a search engine marketing agency for small businesses in Chicago before eventually developing into a digital marketing agency for Fortune 1000 companies.[7][8]

The company began to offer Custom Google Analytics Installation in 2009.[8]

In early 2012, the company moved its headquarters to the Chicago Loop.[9]

In September 2012, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel listed Rise Interactive among the top twenty companies which would bring 2,000 new jobs to the area by 2015.[10] The following month, Rise Interactive analyzed the paid search marketing strategies of Mitt Romney and Barack Obama during the presidential campaign.[11][12]

In April 2015, the agency expanded its headquarters, more than doubling in size to over 40,000 square feet, and expanding onto a second floor of its building at One South Wacker.[13]

Rise Interactive is a digital marketing agency and Interactive Investment Management Firm that specializes in digital media and web analytics. Its services include Paid Search, SEO, Affiliate Marketing, Web Analytics, Link Building, Display, Email, Mobile, Affiliate and Social Media.[6][14][15]

Leadership

CEO Jon Morris developed the idea for Rise Interactive while working on an MBA from the University of Chicago. Previously, Morris founded the interactive agency Net Traffic and managed the internet marketing department for Ketchum Directory Advertising. He writes a column for Inc.com called Rise Above It. [2][16] In 1999, the Chicago Sun Times named Morris one of Chicago's top 30 entrepreneurs under the age of 30.[6]

Senior Advisor Jack Kraft was the former COO of the Leo Burnett Company, a multinational advertising agency.[15]
