Robert de la Sizeranne
Henri Robert Monier de la Sizeranne (28 August 1866 – 14 September 1932) was a French art critic and essayist.

Biography
Robert de la Sizeranne was born at the commune of Tain-l'Hermitage in the French department of Drôme. Sizeranne descended from an old aristocratic family. He was an assiduous collaborator of periodicals such as the Revue des Deux Mondes and L'Illustration. The Académie française awarded him the Prix Bordin in 1896 and the Prix Vitet in 1909. In 1895, he was a member of the awarding jury of the I International Art Exhibition. He was made Kinight of the Legion of Honor. Sizeranne devoted himself in particular to the activity of historian of art. He was also a literary critic and translator of some of the works of John Ruskin.
He died in Paris.
