Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians was a band led by Robyn Hitchcock, with Andy Metcalfe and Morris Windsor, both former members of the Soft Boys (1976-1981, reuniting 1994 & 2006), as well as Roger Jackson. It was formed in 1984 and split in 1994. It was famous for college-radio hits such as "Balloon Man" (1988), "Madonna of the Wasps" (1989), and "So You Think You're in Love" (1991).
