Rochak Kohli (born July 3, 1983) is a noted Indian music director, composer, singer, instrumentalist and lyricist for Bollywood films. He made his music debut in Shoojit Sircar's romantic comedy Vicky Donor with 'Pani da rang'. The song was made in collaboration with Ayushmann Khurrana, the lead of the film. Both the movie and song were well received. "Pani da rang" won the best song of 2012 at the Global Indian Music awards, MTV Video Music Awards and Big Star Entertainment awards also won as the best Music and Lyrics Debut at the Mirchi Music Awards and many more awards that year.

Early life and education

Rochak Kohli hails from Chandigarh, India. He studied from St. John’s High School and DAV College. He is a qualified lawyer and completed his LLB from Panjab University. He actively pursued theatre along with his education for more than 8 years, before joining 92.7 Big fm where his last served as National Programming Head after which he moved out to set up his own studio in 2013.

Personal life

Rochak Kohli originally belongs to Chandigarh. He comes from a lawyer family. He is married to Sukriti Vadhera Kohli and they have a son, Eklavya Kohli.
