Roger Henri Ludovic Maria van Boxtel (born 8 February 1954 in Tilburg) is a Dutch politician and business executive. He was member of the Dutch House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer) from 30 Augustus 1994 until 3 Augustus 1998 and chairman for the liberal political party D66 in the Dutch Senate between 7 June 2011 and 9 June 2015.[1]

From 1998 until 2002 he was Minister for Urban Policy and Integration of Ethnic Minorities. In 2003 he started working for Menzis health insurance, of which he became Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2004. He resigned at Menzis in April 2015.[1]

Van Boxtel was Interim Director of Dutch football club AFC Ajax from November 2011 until January 2012.[1]

On 1 August 2015, Van Boxtel was appointed as CEO of the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS; Dutch Railways), the principal passenger railway operator in the Netherlands.[2]
