Roslavlsky District (Russian: Росла́вльский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the twenty-five in Smolensk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,000 square kilometers (1,200 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the town of Roslavl.[1] Population: 76,100 (2010 Census);[3] 81,307 (2002 Census);[6] 61,000 (1989 Census).[7] The population of Roslavl accounts for 72.1% of the district's total population.[3]
