Rownhams

Rownhams is a village in Hampshire, England, situated just outside the boundaries of the City of Southampton, to the north-west. Rownhams services is a nearby service station on the M27 motorway that runs to the north of the village. The village is fairly small and only consists of a few houses a large stately home (Rownhams house) and Saint Johns Church accompanied by one primary school and a nursery. The Church is named after Saint John the Evangelist. In 2007 some of the stain glass windows were stolen and only a few originals remain. The church is roughly 200 years old.
