Ruth Kutol

Ruth Jepkoech Kutol (born 16 May 1973) is a Kenyan long-distance runner, from Ainabkoi, Uasin Gishu District.

She won the Marseille-Cassis Classique Internationale in 1998, one second off the course record.[1] At the 2000 World Cross Country Championships she finished tenth in the long race, while the Kenyan team of which Kutol was a part won the silver medal in the team competition.

Kutol is a Kenyan from Kapchorwa in the Keiyo district of kutol family. She lives in Nairobi, and has a cousin by the name Samson kiprop Kimeli of Ainabkoi and a career banker.[citation needed]
