Ryze Trampoline Parks (or simply, Ryze) is a brand of trampoline parks operated in Europe and Asia and owned by CircusTrix.[1][2][3] Ryze parks are currently located in Edinburgh and Glasgow in Scotland[4][5] and Hong Kong in China.[6] A new park is set to be opened in Dundee, Scotland in late 2016.[7] The indoor parks contain dozens of interconnected trampolines, soft-foam pits, trapeze, and slacklines.[8]

History
The brand was launched by CircusTrix in 2014 with the opening of a trampoline park in Hong Kong.[1][3] The Hong Kong park was announced in January 2014 and opened in July of that year. It was Asia's first indoor trampoline park at the time of its launch. In its first two weeks of operation, Ryze Hong Kong saw around 16,000 customers.[1][6]
Ryze's second park was announced in September 2014 and was to be located near Edinburgh, Scotland.[8] The facility is housed in the Mayfield Industrial Estate in Dalkeith[2][9] and was officially opened in January 2015.[4] In its first three weeks of operation, Ryze Edinburgh saw over 25,000 patrons at its facility. At that time, however, the location was forced to close temporarily after a series of injuries sustained at the facility were reported to the Midlothian Council. It was also discovered that Ryze Edinburgh did not have the proper indoor sports entertainment license, although they applied for one soon after. Ryze maintained that the injuries sustained at the facility represented 0.39% of the total customer base, an accident figure generally considered better than the industry average. Ryze Edinburgh reopened in April 2015 after securing the proper license and instituting several council-mandated and voluntary reforms.[10][11]
Ryze opened its third park in Kinning Park, Glasgow in April 2015.[5] It was initially supposed to open in February but was delayed after issues at the Edinburgh facility. Ryze Glasgow uses an old warehouse that underwent a ₤1-million renovation prior to its opening.[12] In 2016, Ryze announced plans for another trampoline park in Dundee.[7] CircusTrix is also exploring options for further Ryze locations in places like Seoul, Taipei, Manchester, London, Amsterdam, and Dusseldorf.[3][13]
Parks
The Ryze brand currently maintains three trampoline parks in Hong Kong,[6] Edinburgh,[4] and Glasgow.[5] A confirmed future park in Dundee, Scotland is set to be opened later in 2016.[7] All parks contain several dozen interconnected trampolines from wall-to-wall. They also often have basketball and dodgeball "courts," soft-foam pits, "fidget" ladders, "ninja courses," aerial skills sections, and parkour sections.[1][8][9]
Ryze Hong Kong covers a space of 18,000 square feet on the third floor of a building on Java Road.[1] Ryze Edinburgh is located in the Mayfield Industrial Estate in Dalkeith and covers an area of 13,000 square feet.[8] Ryze Glasgow is located in a 10,000 square-foot former warehouse in Kinning Park.[5][12] The future Dundee park is estimated to cost ₤3 million to complete and will have a cafe, chocolate factory, and a "ninja park" obstacle course.[7]
