SVP Worldwide is a company that designs, manufactures, and distributes consumer sewing machines and accessories around the world under 3 brands: Singer, Husqvarna Viking, and Pfaff. SVP was the result of an acquisition of the Swedish VSM Group, which included the Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff brands, by American private equity firm Kohlberg & Company LLC, which owned the Singer brand. Management of SVP Worldwide is divided between the U.S. and Sweden. [1]

Martha Stewart partnership

In April 2007, SVP Worldwide and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (NYSE: MSO) announced a long-term endorsement deal by Martha Stewart to promote SVP's machines and accessories.[2] In March 2008 it was announced that SVP would be an underwriter for Martha's shows Everyday Food and Everyday Baking from Everyday Food televised on PBS.[3]
