Saira Shah Halim is an Indian theater personality and a social activist.[2][3]Saira is the daughter of Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah, former Deputy Chief of the Indian Army and currently the Vice Chancellor of the Aligarh Muslim University.[4] She is also the niece of acclaimed film actor Mr. Naseer Uddin Shah and the daughter in law of Mr Hashim Abdul Halim,former speaker of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. Saira’s brother is a critically acclaimed Actor Major Mohommed Ali Shah .

Early life

Saira’s ancestors were the Nawabs Of Sardhana, a tehsil near Delhi.[5][6] [7]
