Sant State, also known as Sant-Rampur State was one of the princely states of India during the period of the British Raj.

History

The state was founded in 1255 and had its capital in Santrampur. It was a 9 gun salute state belonging to the Rewa Kantha Agency of the Bombay Presidency.[1]

Its last ruler signed the accession to the Indian Union on 10 June 1948.[2]

Rulers

The rulers of Sant belonged to the Parmar dynasty. They were titled "Rana" from ca 1870 onward.[3]
