Santa Ana Hospital, Manila

Santa Ana Hospital is located in Santa Ana, Manila. Santa Ana is a district in Manila's southeast area. The hospital's street address is: New Panaderos Street, Santa Ana, Manila, Philippines 1009. It stands on the site of an earlier hospital, Trinity Hospital, which moved to a new location in 1998.[1]

Santa Ana Hospital was built by the City of Manila with the help of Lucio Tan's Tan Yan Kee Foundation. Tan wanted to name the hospital for his mother or father while the city wanted to name it for Corazon Aquino. Both sides agreed on using the present name. The Wikimapia website refers to the hospital as Santa Ana Trauma Hospital.[2]

The hospital building was completed in April 2010, opening on April 28. Santa Ana is ten stories high, is fully air conditioned and has a capacity of 500 inpatient beds.[3]
