Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. A geste antagoniste is a physical gesture or position (such as touching one's chin) which serves to temporarily interrupt dystonia.
Patients may be aware of the presence of a geste antagoniste which provides some relief from their symptoms.[1] Therapy for dystonia can involve prosthetics which provide passive simulation of the stimulation.[2]
It is also known as a "sensory trick".[3]
