Seryshevsky District (Russian: Серышевский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the twenty in Amur Oblast, Russia. The area of the district is 3,800 square kilometers (1,500 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Seryshevo.[2] Population: 25,725 (2010 Census);[5] 29,440 (2002 Census);[8] 35,969 (1989 Census).[9] The population of Seryshevo accounts for 42.0% of the district's population.[5]
