Shifting Gears is the debut studio album by American DJ Z-Trip, which was released on April 19, 2005 through Hollywood Records in CD and digital download format, and on May 10, 2005 in vinyl, which are all available on Amazon.[1] It can also be bought from his official website for purchase,[2] and on iTunes.[3]

History

Guest appearances on the album include Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, Soup of Jurassic 5, and Chuck D of Public Enemy. Other guest appearances on the album include Aceyalone, Busdriver, Supernatural, Mystic, Luke Sick, Murs, Lyrics Born, Whipper Whip, and Grandmaster Caz. Shifting Gears was well received both critically and commercially.

"Walking Dead" featuring Chester Bennington of Linkin Park spawned as the first and only single in 2005.
