Simon Caney

Simon Caney is Professor of Political Theory and Fellow and Tutor of Magdalen College, Oxford.[1]

Caney read Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Merton College,Oxford, and was a postgraduate student at Nuffield College, Oxford. He taught at the University of Newcastle and the University of Birmingham before returning to Oxford as Professor of Political Theory.[1]

Caney is the author of Justice Beyond Borders (Oxford University Press, 2005), and of many articles in politics and philosophy journals. He currently co-directs the Oxford Martin School research programme on 'Human Rights for Future Generations'.[2]
