Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium

The Sir Ignatius Kilage Sports Stadium was named after Sir Ignatius Kilage (1941 – 31 December 1989) who was the fourth Governor General of Papua New Guinea.[1]
The stadium is situated on Markham Rd, Lae near Voco Point(Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found.)
Oceania Area Championships in Athletics
In 2003 and 2005 the Oceania Area Championships in Athletics was held at the Sir Ignatius Kilage Sports Stadium in Lae.
