SlaughtaHouse is the first album from hip hop group Masta Ace Incorporated, consisting of Masta Ace, Lord Digga, Paula Perry, Eyceurokk and Leschea. Released three years after Ace's acclaimed debut Take a Look Around, the loose concept of the album is addressing the growing trend of violence in hip-hop music at the time, notably from the West Coast. He addresses this satirically in the over-the-top single "Slaughtahouse".

The album was notable for infusing West Coast funk-influenced beats with rough "New York rhyming." The 2008 repress of the album includes the single "Born To Roll", a bass-heavy remix of "Jeep Ass Niguh". This version became a hit single in 1994, reaching the Top 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song also presaged a new bass-heavy direction on his next album, Sittin' on Chrome. The album also includes underground classics such as; the title track, "Saturday Nite Live," "Style Wars" and "Ain't U Da Masta."

SlaughtaHouse was mainly produced in-house by members of the I.N.C. such as Uneek, Ase One (Masta Ace's producer alias) and the production duo The Bluez Brothas; consisting of Lord Digga and Witchdoc. It's, however, a common mistake that the single "Saturday Nite Live" is credited to DJ Premier. This is a result of him performing all scratches and cuts on the record; an actual DJ Premier remix of the song does not exist in any way or form.

SlaughtaHouse was reissued twice in recent years. The first reissue was released in 2008. The second reissue was released in December 2013 as a deluxe edition with a second disc of 17 additional remixes, accapellas and rarities.[2]
