Stanley Hugh Campbell (August 26, 1930 – March 14, 2005) was an American collegiate and professional football player. He played professionally for the NFL's Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles, and ended his football career with the American Football League's Oakland Raiders in 1962.[1]

Personal

After his football career, Campbell opened his own carpet cleaning business. Stan had 4 sons with his wife, Sherry Campbell, and they were later divorced. The couples children had 10 children together. Jack, Anna, Maggie, Katie, Hannah, Todd, Brentonius, Kayla, Jeffery, and Patrick. Campbell died in March 2005 of pancreatic cancer, which the doctors did not tell his family about.[1] He was inducted into the Rochelle Hall of Fame after he died.
