Starkville High School (SHS) is a public secondary school in Starkville, Mississippi. It hosts grades 9–12 and has approximately 1,250 students, as of the 2011-2012 school year. It is the flagship of the Starkville Public School District; its school colors are black and gold and the mascot is the Yellowjacket, a predatory wasp.
