Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. Steve Rotfeld Productions (SRP) is a television production, stock footage and broadcast syndication company based in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. The company was founded in 1985 by President Steve Rotfeld.[1]
SRP currently produces six educational/informational (E/I)-compliant series through its syndication division: Wild About Animals, Awesome Adventures, Whaddyado, Chat Room and Animal Science. Additionally, SRP is currently producing one-hour quarterly specials of its popular sports programs Greatest Sports Legends and Sports Gone Wild. Since 1985, SRP's programs have appeared in national broadcast syndication and on major cable channels such as TLC, ESPN, ESPN Classic, Animal Planet, truTV and the Travel Channel.

Television Shows
- Wild About Animals: a magazine series featuring videos of animals and pets including celebrity owners, heroic pets and home-video bloopers. Hosted by Emmy Award-winning actress Mariette Hartley, Wild About Animals travels the globe to deliver young viewers fascinating stories about animals around the world. The FCC friendly series has also been acquired by Animal Planet for a three-year run.[2]
- Awesome Adventures: Began airing in 1996; takes teens on incredible journeys all over the world to experience a wide range of destinations and diverse activities.[3]
- Whaddyado: features people in real-life moral dilemmas and perilous situations to give young viewers a chance to ponder what they would do in the same situation.[4]
- Wild Weddings: Outrageous wedding moments caught on tape.[5]
- The Lighter Side of Sports: A long-running syndicated American sports blooper program utilizing Rotfeld's extensive collection of stock footage. Two series bore the name: one that ran on ESPN and was hosted by Jay Johnstone, and a syndicated show hosted by Mike Golic.
- Sports Disasters: Accidents involving athletes and spectators.[6]
- Greatest Sports Legends: Sports-documentary series highlighting some of the most legendary athletes of all time, including Emmy Award winning The Legend of Jackie Robinson.[7]
- Bob Uecker's Wacky World of Sports: Also known as Bob Uecker's Sports Show, this series began airing in syndication in 1985. "Mr. Baseball" Bob Uecker presents numerous sports bloopers and oddities in a mock talk show motif. 30 episodes were produced in the late 1980s.
- Chat Room: A young panel discusses teen-oriented issues, giving their opinions, and advises kids how to deal with potential problems.
- Animal Science: Shows viewers how and why animals behave using a scientific approach, with 3D animations, graphics, and analysis.
- Sports Gone Wild: features bloopers, crazy moments and incredible plays from the world of sports. In 2012, the classic sports series will air as one-hour specials each quarter.
Xploration Nation
In Fall 2014, SRP will begin programming a two-hour weekly block for Fox Television Stations under a syndication agreement entitled Xploration Nation. The four programs will offer E/I programming exploring the STEM fields of science and technology.[8]

The WorkShop
In 2008, Steve Rotfeld established The WorkShop with Tom Farrell.[9] The full-service media production company currently produces the Golf Channel's The Haney Project, now in its fourth season,[10] and Independence USA on GBTV, Glen Beck's live streaming video network.
Past WorkShop series include Donald J. Trump's Fabulous World of Golf and Golf in America.[11][12]
- Independence USA: The reality series follows Frank Belcastro and his family as they prepare to live life "off the grid," in the event of a potential catastrophe. The series premiered on GBTV, Glen Beck's live streaming video network, January 18, 2012.
- The Haney Project features Hank Haney (Tiger Woods's former swing coach) teaching a celebrity how to become a better golfer. Since its premiere, the show has featured NBA Hall-of-Famer Charles Barkley; Emmy Award-winning actor/comedian Ray Romano; and controversial radio talk-show host, Rush Limbaugh. The fourth season of The Haney Project (airing February – April 2012) will feature four celebrities: Adam Levine (Maroon 5 and The Voice), legendary boxer Sugar Ray Leonard, celebrity chef Mario Batali, and former super model Angie Everhart competing against each other for the chance to win over $100,000 for the charity of their choice.[15]
