Stratonice (mythology)

Stratonice (Greek: Στρατoνίκη from στρατός "army" and νίκη "victory") is the name of four women in Greek mythology.

1. Stratonice, one of the fifty daughters of Thespius and Megamede. She bore Heracles a son, Atromus.[1]

2. Stratonice, a daughter of Pleuron and Xanthippe.[2]

3. Stratonice, mother of Eurytus by Melaneus.[3]

4. Stratonice, mother of Poemander by Chaeresilaus. She was carried off by Achilles.[4][5]
