Taşucu (Latin: Holmi) is a small town of Silifke, Mersin Province, Turkey. About 11,000 people live in Taşucu, but this number increases to about 20,000 in the summer due to tourism (in 2010, the population was 8,392[1]). Taşucu is the main ferry terminal to Kyrenia (Girne), the main port of Northern Cyprus.

There are two primary schools, one high school, and one university in the town; these are "Taşucu İlköğretim Okulu (Taşucu Primary Education School)", "Taşucu SEKA İlköğretim Okulu (Taşucu SEKA Primary Education School)", "Taşucu Durmuş Tezcan Lisesi (Taşucu Durmuş Tezcan High School)", and "Taşucu Selçuk Üniversitesi (Taşucu Selçuk University)".
