The Taipei Representative Office in Denmark; (Chinese: 駐挪威代表處; pinyin: Zhù Nuówēi Dàibiǎo Chù) represents the interests of Taiwan in Norway in the absence of formal diplomatic relations, functioning as a de facto embassy.

There is currently no counterpart in Taiwan, although there was previously a Norwegian Trade Council office in Taipei, established in 1989.[3] However, this was closed in 2004.[2] Instead, the Trade Council of Denmark in Taipei performs some consular services on behalf of Norway.[4]

History

The first representative office of Taiwan in Norway was the Taipei Trade Centr, established in 1980.[1]

The Office is headed by a Representative, currently Victor Te-sun Yu.[2]
