I have an issue with the deletion of this page.

The article looked fairly innocuous and it is not clear that we want to give people veto rights on articles created about them.

Can you describe your reasoning around agreeing to delete the page? -- Crew (talk) 16:49, 10 September 2018 (UTC)

The author objected to his name being associated due to his belief that Vox Day was a major operator of this site. Once he was assured that this was not the case, he has agreed to drop his objection and the page has been restored and even updated. An associate of Mr. Day's anonymously attacked the author's grandchild online and Mr. Day refused to identify the person so legal action could be taken.

I'm sure we can all agree the author had a right to be upset and would not want his name closely associated with Mr. Day's under those circumstances. As it now stands, the objection has been dropped, the author considers the matter settled to his satisfaction and hopefully we can all move forward.
