Technolibertarianism, sometimes referred to as cyberlibertarianism is a political philosophy with roots in the information technology sector in Silicon Valley. The philosophy is closely associated with the cypherpunk movement that emerged in the early 1990s. The term was popularized in critical discourse by technology writer Paulina Borsook.
