1968 USA Olympic Swimming Team roster from USA Swimming's website (www.usaswimming.org). Retrieved August 16, 2012. Please note that the following swimmers also appear on the official USA Swimming roster for the 1968 Summer Olympics: Raymond Rivero, Carl Robie, Peter Williams, Therese Auda, Kim Brecht, Cathy Corcione, Victoria King, Kathleen Thomas, Eadie Wetzel. These swimmers were not medalists or finalists in any event, and Sports-Reference.com and databaseOlympics.com do not list them as competing in the preliminary heats, so I have removed them from the navbox. According to the USA Swimming roster, they were among the very youngest swimmers listed, and I can only surmise that they were alternates who did not compete at the Olympics. If anyone else can shed light on their status, please do.
